<p>Shami said that the Indian cricket team members were taken aback by the PM’s visit and were not prepared for it in an interview with Aaj Tak on Wednesday.</p>
<p>“We were sitting dejectedly, our hearts wounded by the defeat. It seemed as if our two months of labor were for nothing because of one game. Even if we were having a rough day and were unhappy, you had to maintain your composure when the PM walks in. Modiji arrived out of nowhere; we were not even informed that he would be visiting. It was such a huge surprise for us when he arrived since we weren’t even in the mood to eat or chat before,” Shami said.</p>
