<p>Rohit Sharma is taking a break from playing cricket after winning the ODIs and T20Is. The next Asia Cup 2023, which begins on August 30, will see the Indian skipper return to play with his team in blue. <p>Rohit attended a gathering in Milpitas, California after taking a break from the five-match T20I series against the West Indies. His followers rushed him as soon as he exited his vehicle so they could take pictures and get his signature.</p>
<p>Jeevan Santhosh, a person from San Francisco, posted the video of Rohit being surrounded on Twitter.</p>
<p>Another video clip from the occasion, in which Rohit could be heard discussing the T20 world cup that would be held in the USA and the West Indies the following year, is now becoming popular on social media.</p>
<p>“There is another reason to come here (in the USA), in addition to simply going and having fun. as you are aware that the World Cup is approaching. This region of the globe will host the globe Cup in June (next year). I thus believe that everyone is thrilled. So sure, we’re excited about it,” Rohit remarked.</p>
<p>The Indian skipper did not say if he hoped to make the tournament roster for India, but he is undoubtedly looking forward to it.</p>
<p>The ODI World Cup, which begins in less than two months, may be the main emphasis, but India’s preparations for the T20 WC in 2024 seem to have already begun with the West Indies visit. Both Rohit and Kohli are absent from the current five-match T20I series in the Caribbean, as they have been for the previous ten months, while India is being represented by a group of inexperienced players.</p>
