‘Virat Kohli will be a threat to Pakistan’, former cricketer warns Babar and company before IND vs PAK match

He believes that Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli can prove to be very dangerous in the match against Pakistan.

Actually, on September 2, the Asia Cup match is to be played between India and Pakistan (IND vs PAK) in Pallekele, Sri Lanka, in which the Pakistan team may be in danger from Virat Kohli. Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes so.

Mohammad Kaif also said that Kohli’s performance against Pakistan in the T-20 World Cup last year in Australia was excellent, he played amazing innings while batting fast and when it comes to playing against Pakistan, he Is an excellent batsman. He takes full responsibility and is adept at chasing targets.

last year during the T-20 World Cup, when India and Pakistan were facing each other, Virat Kohli had played a brilliant inning of 82 not out on 53 balls and India won the match on the last ball. 

Kaif also said that Kohli’s form in that World Cup was due to his performance in the Asia Cup (2022), which he started with a century against Afghanistan. The fact that he has played Pakistani bowlers in his last match in the T20 World Cup, he would know how each Pakistani bowler bowls, be it Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi or Haris Rauf.

That in Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan team’s first match was played against Nepal, in which Pakistan got a big victory by 238 runs. For Pakistan, captain Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed scored strong centuries.
