<p>Prithvi Shaw, who is no longer a member of the Indian Cricket squad, relies on his aggressive style of play to score runs and rejoin the team. In a T20I match against Sri Lanka in July 2021, Shaw made his last appearance for India. Since then, he has been absent from game time. Shaw achieved the scores of 25 and 26 while opening the batting in the Duleep Trophy semifinal match against Central Zone at Alur, but he was unable to have a significant influence. Shaw is not on the West Indies roster either, hence he will play in the championship game versus South Zone. According to Shaw, he doesn’t need to alter his hitting technique and only needs to be a little bit more savvy. Personally, I believe I don’t need to alter my strategy, only become a bit wiser than I am.</p>
<p>I cannot bat like Pujara Sir, and he cannot bat like I can.</p>
<p>Following West Zone’s Duleep Trophy quarterfinal match versus Central Zone at Alur, Shaw remarked, “So, what I am trying to do is those things that have brought me here so far, for example, the aggressive batting, I don’t like to change that.”</p>
<p>Every game matters to me, Shaw</p>
<p>The 23-year-old also said that right now, every game is crucial to him, and he strives to provide his best effort. “I believe that the current game I am playing is as crucial as anything. I believe it’s crucial for me to perform at my best, whether I’m competing in the Duleep Trophy or my Mumbai game, Shaw said. The Delhi Capitals player acknowledged that the going was rough and that scoring runs wasn’t simple.</p>
<p>“You can’t always be flawless, but after these types of situations (not getting runs), I try to work even harder. T20 has a similar mentality but is a little more cutting. Not in the same sense that I play red-ball cricket when I play T20,” remarked Shaw.</p>
