Shadab Khan’s Scathing ‘No Benefit’ Remark on Winning India-Pakistan Match, Urges Team to Concentrate on ‘Main Aim’

Shadab Khan, an all-rounder for Pakistan, believes that Babar Azam’s team would get “no benefit” from victory over India if they are unable to achieve their “main aim” for the ODI World Cup in 2023. Shadab spoke about the strain of playing against Men in Blue in India and expressed his hope that Pakistan will bring home the ODI World Cup championship.

On October 15, the two bitter rivals will square off in a high-intensity match at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-46837″ src=”×394.jpg” alt=”” width=”1481″ height=”778″ srcset=”×394.jpg 750w,×538.jpg 1024w,×403.jpg 768w,×79.jpg 150w, 1200w” sizes=”(max-width: 1481px) 100vw, 1481px” />

The ICC just announced the schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023 at a ceremony held in Mumbai. India has an impeccable record against Pakistan in ODI World Cup matches, never having lost to them, and they’ll want to extend that mark to 8-0 in the big match later this year.

In spite of the fact that Babar Azam’s team defeated India by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai, they have not yet defeated their neighbors in the format of 50 overs.

Virat Kohli produced an incredible innings at the T20 World Cup in Australia last year to save his team from certain disaster. Shadab believes that Pakistan will still be hoping to win the World Cup even if they lose to India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad since the match between India and Pakistan is the “mother of all battles” and will undoubtedly be a significant event for both sets of players.

The exhilaration of competing versus India is distinct. Additionally, the total pressure varies. Now that it would be their home field when we have to visit, the fans will be against us, Shadab said Cricket Pakistan.

However, he said, “We are going there to compete in the World Cup, so we should think about it, and not just about India, because if we win against India but lose the World Cup, then there’s no point.”

“In my opinion, even if we lose to India but end up winning the World Cup, it’s a win-win,” the great all-rounder stated. “That is our main goal.”
