current champions India won their last Pool A match against Thailand 17-0 to reach to the Men's Junior Asia Cup hockey tournament's semifinals. India finished first in their group, defeating Chinese Taipei, Japan, and Thailand while drawing 1-1 with Pakistan. Following the games between Pakistan and Japan in Pool A and Malaysia and Oman in Pool B, it will be known who India's opponent in the semifinals will be. To win Pool A, Pakistan must defeat Japan by a score of at least 14 goals in their final league game.
